Arbor Glades is the most recent addition to the Flagless fold. Centered on the songwriting of lead guitarist/vocalist Andrew Duval, the band find a meeting point between Duval’s South African upbringing and the humdrum nooks and crannies of Montréal’s sometimes somber and frosty atmosphere. The result is a moody, jangly pop-rock with touches of surf and soul. (Flagless Records)
