d'Eon drops a mixtape of instrumental keyboard music entitled "Music For Keyboards, Vol. I", ahead of his upcoming album "LP" on Hippos In Tanks. Over the past few months, d'Eon has uploaded instrumental tracks to YouTube, collected from 2003 - 2012. The classically-informed keyboard tracks contrast the pop-oriented songs on the upcoming "LP".

Formed in the early 90′s, d’Eon’s music is a product of two sides of a brain at war with each other, contradicting each other. Notes and rhythms and lyrics playing against each other, making each other obsolete, trying to make the others look bad. Femininity trying to outdo masculinity, acrimony trying to overtake sweetness.

Taking cues from such disparate influences as sound, rhythm, notes, and harmony, d’Eon makes music that is audible to most listener’s ears. In a rare, unprecedented hybrid, d’Eon not only puts musical notes together, but also places rhythms on top of the notes to create a thrilling combination of music and percussion. Another unique quality in his or her productions is the use of snares, claps, kicks and hi hats, but also more exotic percussion such as rimshots, toms and cowbells. This unconvential and innovative use of “programmable drum machines” to accompany not only keyboards but also vocal melodies is what sets d’Eon apart from the crowd. It is obvious that this young man or woman has a bright future in panhandling, heroin use, and attaching him or herself to a fanatical right-wing cause.

Named after a song of Squarepusher, these three young musicians of French and Swiss origin play a music style which is hard to define. Thinking one is listening to jazz, the music suddenly mutates into semi-electro. One just managed to filter out a melody when it disintegrates into coarse, metalic splitters. Rock on the one side, on the other minimalism à la Steve Reich, and in the midst an highly willful trio which has been plugging and playing away in virgin soil the last five years: a genuine discovery.

"Here’s the thing about soulful music that makes it unlike any other: when done well, it inspires a certain … state of mind. Call it a Mood or maybe a Funk if you’re prone to that sort of thing. The point is, by definition, “soulful” music sparks contemplation. Past actions, future actions or moments of inaction, it doesn’t really matter. Once in this state, it’s tough to do anything but listen and muse, listen and muse. And whether we care to admit it or not, being held captive in this manner can be a little bit delicious.

Fred called it and now we can confirm, Doe Paoro’s new album Slow to Love is delicious. In her blog, Sonia Kreitzer hints about how she got here (some heartache, some writer’s block, some lessons learned), but in her songs, she practically bares it all. Slow to Love is about a personal breakthrough, and I always love a good story about breaking free.

The story itself is pretty brief and covered in about half an hour. Most of the time I just sat there and shook my head, marveling over how she suffered, how much she overcame. Actually, I don’t know how much, but it sure as heck felt like there was some suffering going on. Don’t be too intimidated, though. The songs aren’t all heavy and intense, like “Born Whole” or “Can’t Leave You” might imply. Somewhere in the middle, Kreitzer lightens up and treats us to a couple of upbeat songs with “Trying to Impress” and “Body Games.”

Upbeat or not, we like it all – the message and the manner in which she delivers it. As the artist herself describes it, Feral Wailing pretty much hits the nail on the head.

Rhizome EP is the prequel to Rhizome LP. It is the setup for the events that will unfold and become the story Garghul and his freedom fighters. It is the brief introduction to Dr. Rah-soo, an all to familiar character who's origins will later become revealed.

Rural Idaho, 2158 A.D.
A symbiotic fungus, calling itself simply the Fungus, grows on plant roots, called rhizomes, and begins thriving on the potato crops of Idaho. Its symbiotic relationship with the plants is mutualistic. The fungus has evolved, however, and now has a way to attach itself to human brains. While much less mutual, its ability to overthrow the human willpower is astonishing. The Fungus begins its new reign of power with the local farm people, and then moves its way into the minds of city planners, police officers, governors and the like.

Chicago, IL, 2161 A.D.
The Fungus has taken over nearly 80% of the world's population. Chicago has become its US base of operation, with other control centers in Hong Kong, Jerusalem, Cairo and more. With control of the Airforce it has become easy to transport new "recruits" to the Fungus control hub for instruction and job placement. Dozens of women are enslaved, trapped in hospitals around the city, where they are used for breeding purposes. A small group of underground freedom fighters, led by the shrouded warrior known as Garghul, has concocted a plan to free to the female captives, hoping to begin the topple of the Fungus empire. A local scientist named Dr. Rah-soo has also begun working with the group to find an elixir to combat the fungi's effects. With Garghul and Dr. Rah-soo helming the rebellion, the underground finally has hope for survival and reclamation of their world.

So many brilliant artists and friends helped inspire the creation of this EP and concept: Hear Hums, Libraries, Golden, Com Truise, Rory O'Connor, Eric Parson, Matt Keen, Kirsten Frazelle, Giancarlo D'Alessandro & David Smith. Shouts out to Tommy Mikey, Ryan Hemsworth, Nate McKee, Julian Wass, Sam Ray, Dylan Ettinger and Matt Sage for always being willing to listen to demos and samples and keep me motivated. "Centrándonos en el debut de Love Sex Machine, puedo decir desde ya que se trata de una de las sorpresas del año, y el primer álbum metálico que me ha volado la cabeza. A pesar de su ridículo nombre, de su risible portada y de desconcertantes (cuanto menos) títulos de canciones como Killed With A Monster Cock o Vagina Curse, estamos ante un trabajo que hay que tomarse muy en serio si uno no quiere acabar humillado, vejado o triturado, incluso todo a la vez. Porque Love Sex Machine duele, es un impío monolito elevado a horribles deidades perdidas en la memoria de nuestra especie, es la sodomía cuando los látigos dejan paso a la lija. Algo que comprobarás cuando comience Anal On Deceased Virgin y su riff te salte todos los empastes de la boca. Partiendo de la la inclemencia abrasiva del sludge, Love Sex Machine han sumado a su propuesta los característicos, todopoderosos y ultramundanos riffs de Meshuggah, dando como resultado una obesidad sonora cuya comparación más acertada sería encontrarse en mitad de un terremoto y una explosión termonuclear junto a una estampida de elefantes. Todo ello mientras un mono colocado de speed te desgarra el ano con una taladradora industrial y suelta alaridos apocalípticos en tu oreja. A pesar de hacer de la lentitud y densidad asfixiante sus coordenadas de partida, la banda gala es capaz de compactar la mayoría de temas en metrajes que no superan los 5 minutos de duración, ya que de no haberlo hecho la OTAN hubiera bombardeado Francia por desarrollar armas biológicas. En todo caso el resultado sobre tu córtex cerebral es el mismo, y al terminar los poco más de 30 minutos que dura el álbum te sentirás peor que después de recibir una paliza de campeonato. Lo que hace soberbio a este álbum es que a pesar de hacer saltar todos los sismógrafos de aquí a Tokio y provocar espasmos esquizoides en 9 de cada 10 oyentes, a la vez despliega una pegada y gancho que lo convierten en tremendamente adictivo. Absolutamente imposible no llorar con placer malsano ante estigmas sangrantes como Fucking Battle, Plenty Of Feelings o Killed With A Monster Cock, que te obligarán a hacer headbanging como un poseso, aunque probablemente contra tu madre o una pared. Como los colores y las gamas cromáticas son cosas de hippies amanerados, no esperes aquí versatlidad ni matices, ni falta que hace. Love Sex Machine no dan cuartel, respiro ni tregua alguna, tan sólo una blitzkrieg sonora, despiadada y de una densidad cósmica. Tómalo o déjalo, da igual, ellos saldrán victoriosos de cualquiera manera." (Ecos de R'Lyeh)

"It’s not like James Ferraro doesn’t have his detractors, but part of the deal with him is that he’s got a definitive goal in mind, and he’s attempting to reach it in a very public way. That means there are gonna be some misses, some hits, and some genuinely bizarre shit that no one can explain. When he released his Bebetunes project, it mostly felt like a semi-interesting experiment by a super-smart dude trying to grapple with synthesizing everything he hears on the radio into his own distinct style. His newest project, Bodyguard, takes that idea one step further. Fleshing out his interpretations of radio tropes (autotune! Balloon noises! Bass so deep that it quakes!) with the help of a band. Predictably, there are a couple moments that fall flat, but that’s alright. It’s not like you’re paying for this. There are highlights too. On “Raiden – Blue Lights #NZT – 48,” Ferraro reaches dizzying late-evening-in-LA excess: repeating crystaline synths and the aforementioned overwhelmingly heavy bass with detached vocals for seven-and-a-half minutes. It’s dark and sleazy and borders on excessive, but it also seems like the pinnacle of the ideas he’s been exploring lately." (The Fader)

My name is Jared C. Balogh and I am from Bethlehem, PA U.S.A. I consider myself a multi-media artist (musician, composer, artists, and video maker). The album I am submitting is called “Detaching Realities Vol. 2″. Volume 1 was released on the net label Surrism-Phonoethics (surrism.phonoethics.com) on January 25th, 2011 and it is also featured on the F.M.A. (Free Music Archives).

“Detaching Realities” is a series of compositional jazz interpretation of when life has a intense surreal/abstract feel of being detached from reality during and post panic attacks, anxiety attacks, obsessive/compulsive, Bi-polar and depression disorders. The opposite end of emotional spectrums of being not being balanced: happy/sad, nervous/calm, hyperactive/lethargic, angry/calm, weird, quirky, non-sense etc.

Poco romanticismo, pero, ou yeah, rockandroll. Un poco antes: Sara sabía que Sandra tocaba la batería y sabía que Sara tocaba la guitarra deseando ser Allison Robertson. Habían tenido grupos con vértices comunes y una noche -aleatoria- regresaban al búho en Cibeles (blablabla). Querían una nueva visión conjunta fuera del puto patriarcado de la música que llevaban dentro. Pero necesitaban más- Faltaban más, dos o quizás tres. Llega Ágata. Siempre ha querido ser PJ Harvey, y aunque puede colar como british, prefiere cantar para añadir parecidos. Aquella época el bajo y coros eran dominio de Vane. Ya todas juntas -armonía- suceden los primeros ensayos de versiones, viendo hasta dónde llegaban. Continúan con la progresión natural y componen sus primeros temas, llegan los primeros conciertos, se conocen y se aman. Pero el amor a veces no es suficiente, y Vane- inserta aquí cualquier drama de drogas y sexo que haga la biografía más interesante- separa caminos. Pero las chicas no quieren recrearse en la melancolía y la añoranza, y pronto empiezan a buscar a la nueva responsable de los graves. Viene Ana, y supera todas las necesidades y expectativas del resto del grupo. We love Ana. Ana se mimetiza entre las Lady Grape. Y voilà, nace Señorita Uva tal y como se puede observar hoy en día." El proyecto nace en 2008 tras el cruce de caminos de unos jóvenes inquietos. En los primeros meses de vida la banda se forma al completo y empieza adquirir relevancia en el ámbito valenciano. Realizando aprox. 40 conciertos en año y medio.
En 2009 ganan el concurso Emergenza en la Comunidad Valenciana y quedan finalistas a nivel nacional en Barcelona. Además también quedan finalistas en diferentes concursos de bandas como La Rock'n Roll de Valencia.
En 2010 sacan la primera demo "Momentos Esquimales" con una gran acogida por parte del público y la crítica musical. Se les otorga el premio criminal a la "Mejor Maqueta 2010" por parte de El Club de Amigos del Crimen de Radio Klara.
Flaco Favor ha recorrido parte del panorama español por distintas salas de Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia y Alicante. Entre ellas Ritmo y Compás, Greenspace, Razzmatazz 1, El Loco, Matisse, Mirror y Subway the pop. Además ha compartido escenario con artistas como Cyan, Los Peces y Jaime Urrutia.
El 14 de Febrero de 2012 saldrá a la luz “Pensamiento & Lenguaje” un trabajo que asienta el particular estilo del grupo, mostrando la evolución y madurez de sus canciones a la vez que la parte más explosiva y cuidada de sus directos. Este trabajo ha sido grabado y mezclado por Pau Paredes y masterizado por Vicente Mezquita en los Estudios Millenia de Valencia durante los meses de Septiembre-Diciembre 2011.

This is mantra music for the after party. Baptism music for the hotel lobby. Meditation songs for a make-out session. This is me playing bass and singing for a long drive home.

This EP was made in the year 2011 using only bass guitar. Thank you to my parents for the means to record, and to Ben Burroughs, Ben Simmons, and Ben Rush; each of you lent me either a voice or a bass.

All songs written and recorded by Isaac Joel, with additional vocals on "All I Have to Do Is Dream" by Ben Burroughs.

"Franc3s somos María Costa (percusión y voz), Patricia Bermúdez (sintes y coros) y Alberto Martínez (guitarra y voz). Los tres nacimos en la década de los ochenta y nos conocimos en la universidad de A Coruña.
Ya hace cuatro años que empezamos con el grupo.
Por fin el año pasado nos decidimos a sacar nuestro primer disco con la discográfica independiente los Enanos Gigantes, y la distribución de Pias Spain. Lo grabamos en analógico en los estudios Brazil de Madrid. Fue producido por Fino Oyonarte y masterizado por Nathan James en los estudios The Vault de Nueva York y en el colaboraron Los Planetas, Triangulo de Amor Bizarro, Klaus&kinski…
Lo presentamos en Coruña llenando la sala Leclub, en la Rock Kitchen de Madrid, en la Sala 8 y medio de Murcia y en la Apolo 2 de Barcelona en una fiesta organizada por Scanner fm. Las críticas en la Rockdelux , Jenesaispop, Muzicalia, Radio 3… no podían ser mejores. En verano tocamos en varios festivales como el Jack Daniel´s de Barcelona, el Low Cost de Benidorm o el Festival do Norte en Vilagarcía de Arousa con unas críticas muy buenas. Fuimos uno de los pocos grupos españoles que tocamos en el Primavera Club 2011 en Madrid y Barcelona. La Rockdelux y la revista Tendencias nos entrevistaron en su mes de diciembre y volvimos a salir en recopilatorios como el de Indie Spain Magazine, y en muchas listas de lo mejor del año entre las que destacan varios 5º puestos de mejor disco del año en revistas, blogs y radios ( Astredupop, Indiecalling, Howpopisnow?,Numero 0,Perdiendo mi eje (para quien además de quinto mejor disco nacional fuimos el mejor disco gallego), Indie Spain, Esto es Música, Retroalimentación, Ultrasónica, Revista DOT…). Finalmente agotamos las 1000 unidades pero aun se puede descargar en nuestro band camp, donde llevamos casi 4000 descargas.
Ahora mismo estamos ultimando nuestro segundo disco en el que habrá diez nuevas canciones pop, minimalistas, distorsionadas, oscuras y de amor grabadas por Roberto Mallo y producidas por Rodrigo Caamaño y nosotros mismos." (Franc3s)

All the renewed energy and musical background of Jose Roselló and Jaime Pantaleón can be appreciated in their new proposal wich combines electronic, progressive and symphonic psychedelia.

Roselló´s electronic contributions together with the celestial guitars from Pantaleón, are nothing more but the starting point of this record with a soundtrack and free espirit soul.The duo experiment with synthesized sounds and loops in a risky and original way, and they so under a highlighted HI-Fi sound, typical of the 60´ and 70´.

¿David Axelrod? ¿Jean Claude Vannier? ¿Osanna? ¿John Carpenter? ¿Alan Parsons? ¿DJ Shadow? ¿Chemical Brothers? AtletA’s curriculum invited to  optimism  but the final result turns to be amazing. “Catedrales” (Aloud music/Atleta Records,  2010) is an instrumental innovative work, different from anything ever published in Spain. Later came the so called “Spiritismo” (Boa, 2003) and “L´Univers” (Acuarela, 2006) both recorded by Steve Albini, thus they became the first Spanish band who ever worked with him. This is my first full length album. I wrote all these songs in a period of about 8 months. I recorded/produced all these songs on my own at home. So as you listen to it, pretend like you're hanging out with a punk friend of yours from high school, listening to the album in his messy room, because thats exactly where the album was created. I feel like each song is unique and displays a different side of my personality. I hope that when anyone listens to this album they experience a sense of adventure and nostalgia. The lyrics in this album are heavily based on 3 main things: Dreams that i've had, Important people, and memories of my very young childhood (more specifically, memories that I am able to relive through watching home videos and flipping through old photo books) If you are able to connect with even just one song from this project, that would be just swell, my friend.

"LOUP started in early june 2010. This duo was born to play with Rangda (Chris Corsano, Ben Chasny and Sir Richard Bishop) at Grnd Zero in Lyon on june 8th 2010. I (Sheik Anorak) was supposed to improvised with other musicians from Grnd Zero as an openeing for Rangda, but instead I asked Clement to start a new improv/free jazz duo. And then LOUP was born.

LOUP can be considered as an avant-garde free jazz duo. The meeting of jazz background (Clement Edouard) and noise (Sheik Anorak). LOUP is beyond jazz and beyond noise, something like a link between comtemporary music, free jazz and art....something like"comtemporary art/jazz"." (Audition Records)

"Rubén Alonso (cantante), Miguel Brieva (guitarras), Daniel Cuberta (batería), Daniel Matas (piano y cuerda) y Camilo Bosso (contrabajo) han grabado este segundo disco, Un mal día lo tiene cualquiera, en el estudio La Mina, un chalé de Espartinas (Sevilla) que se ha convertido en la cuna de la mayoría de los nuevos grupos de música independiente andaluza. Bajo ese humor surrealista que les emparienta con sus convecinos Pony Bravo (“el hombre del tiempo… ni un poco me ama ni un nada me odia, cómo ese hombre sabe mi nombre”), Las Buenas Noches es un grupo de folk y rock que asimila de una forma extraordinaria toda la música de raíces, impregnando su sonido de trazos andinos y africanos con instrumentos poco habituales como el dobro, el cuatro venezolano y el charango. Si bien las piezas breves (La plaga) son las más atinadas, en el álbum sobresalen las canciones en las que la instrumentación cobra protagonismo (Crimea, La jungla). Cierta herencia de Radio Futura (Oda a la seguridad), no exenta de costumbrismo, y en definitiva, folk imaginario, para uno de los discos más destacados de lo que llevamos de 2011." "Oso Leone son de Palma de Mallorca y lo forman Xavi Marín y Paco Colombàs (guitarras, voces y percusión) y junto a ello se une Ruspell (rhodes, piano, sintetizadores, programaciones). Su primer trabajo “OSO LEONE” se ha grabado íntegramente en La Casa de Música y producido por Ruspell (Jaime Rosselló), que se fijó en este dúo durante su actuación acústica por las montañas de Deià y puso toda su confianza desde aquella primera grabación. Empezaron siendo un dúo de canciones muy simplificadas, pero cuando las hicieron sonar en estudio decidieron añadir componentes sutiles y con sentido, que hacen que las canciones se asienten sobre una base sólida con momentos psicodélicos cautivadores. El resto del grupo en directo lo componen Eusebio Alomar (bajo), Marcos González (guitarras) y Jonathan Mills (batería, percusión).

Así es Oso Leone, delicadeza y una tendencia progresiva que atrapa. Lo que en los primeros segundos suena a folk puede llegar a levantarte de la butaca. Dos voces melódicas que empastan con el amor eterno. "Alba Lua es un nuevo grupo de Burdeos del que todo el mundo va a empezar a hablar dentro de muy poco tiempo. Ahora, también es el nombre de una serie de compilaciones anuales de música independiente hecha por hispanos en Latinoamérica, en España y en otras partes del mundo -como por ejemplo EEUU- donde la comunidad hispana es muy numerosa. Estas que encontraréis aquí, son algunas apuestas para 2011, ya conocidas en sus países de procedencia y que merecen la máxima atención también fuera de ellos.

Plástica quiere facilitar la difusión del gran patrimonio cultural común -en particular, el musical- que, entre todos, seguimos incrementando.

Todas las canciones que aparecen en este volumen han sido amablemente cedidas por sus autores e intérpretes. En la mayoría de casos, son canciones inéditas, compuestas para la ocasión; en otros, revisiones de sus propios temas. Los derechos sobre las mismas pertenecen a los distintos artistas, que las comparten bajo la licencia que corresponda en cada caso.

Muchas gracias a todos los músicos implicados en este proyecto. Algunas bandas quisieron estar pero, por plazos, les fue imposible hacerlo en esta ocasión. Esperamos que ésta sea la primera de una larga serie de compilaciones, que muchas bandas nuevas se sumen a la iniciativa y que los ya presentes en este disco repitan en el futuro.

Muchas gracias también a otros medios digitales que nos apoyaron e inspiraron para llevar adelante esta iniciativa y que participan activamente en la construcción de un patrimonio cultural hispano, cada vez más rico y de alcance más global.

"Exhaust is a bass, drum and tape trio that crashed through various Montreal venues in a series of semi-controlled explosions during the mid-90s, with an early vinyl release on Constellation appearing in 1998 (issued on CD two years later). As other projects began to dominate the players’ schedules, Exhaust have played only sporadically since 1999 but re-grouped in the summer of 2001 for a short tour and month-long cabin retreat, where their second album was recorded.

"This is “one of those” I saw on /mu/ and I actually enjoyed. Dream Sequence is an experimental hip-hop debut by Philadelphia musician Alyosha’s Dream. One of the first things that we have to get out of the way is that this actually was not an easy listen. The textures in this record are complex and took me a few listens to really take them in. The concept of the record is that it “starts of somewhat normal and takes you into increasingly strange territory as it progresses onward.” That it does.
I actually like to think of there being two “parts” to this, the “normal” (With a very loose use of the word) being the first six tracks, and the odd half being the rest. In fact, starting with the track “Recent Nightmare,” the music gets noticeably darker. Really, it’s when the whole thing gets really interesting. Not to say the first half of the album isn’t good, it just doesn’t quite capture my attention like the second half does. The beats and textures get much more complex and interesting with the second half, and even though it was stranger, more experimental, and dare I say, avant-garde, I found it much easier to listen to.
Mind you, Dream Sequence is definitely not for everyone. If you don’t usually listen to experimental music, this is definitely not a very good place to start, because it’s definitely gets to be a little “out there” a few times. If you’re not into having to re-listen to something to better understand it, you might not like this. But if you’re the kind of open-minded listener that has a good attention span and an affinity for cool soundscapes and textures, this is definitely something to check out. A couple of the tracks in the first half of the album are kind of uninteresting at times and drag on a little bit, but the fantastic second half more than makes up for this, so I’m giving it a solid B+." "É difícil não associar o trabalho de Cícero à sua ex-banda, a Alice. Até porque quem escutou o Anteluz e o histórico Ruído, conhece bem aquela voz sofrida que se sobrepunha as 3 guitarras que a Alice se desafiava a criar e reger. Porém, o hiato sonoro entre Ruído (2007) e Canções de Apartamento, seu primeiro disco solo, cultivou certa curiosidade sobre qual destino se focaria o talento de Cícero Lins.

Ao cortar seu sobrenome, Cícero também lapidou os ruídos de guitarras e passou a andar mais solto, acompanhado apenas de seu violão e utilizando do suporte de Paulo Marinho (bateria) e Bruno Schulz (acordeon/piano/coro), para 3 anos após o fim da Alice e dezenas de discotecagens na noite carioca depois, lançar suas canções de apartamento ao mundo e novamente se sentir na correria de uma banda independente e sofrer para saber a opinião das pessoas e da imprensa sobre seu novo filho.

Climático, o disco é feito para se ouvir com atenção, deixando ecoar no ouvido e virar docemente a trilha sonora do seu dia. É brilhante. Uma viagem ao interior de uma mente que parece expressar-se perfeitamente em letras sentimentais, melodias densas e vocal tristonho. Por vezes, soa como as cantigas melosas de Milton Nascimento, a sensibilidade triste de Rodrigo Amarante e até como a pseudo-rockeiragem de Caetano Veloso. "El primer EP de Nureyev (una mutación en español de los ya míticos Silent pasados por el tubo catódico de El Niño Gusano al que homenajean en su propio nombre) son cinco temas de pop cristalino perfectamente ejecutado. William C. cosido a base de dulzura acústica y meticulosos guiños es un tema redondo donde la voz atrapa la melancolía de la letra en cada fraseo. Ciudades griegas con un tono más épico nos recuerda a bandas como los nunca bien reivindicados Deneuve o incluso los oscenses Kiev cuando nieva y cuando el bajo se mezcla con los ambientes sintético el panegírico para el recuerdo de los hombres mosca, para los alambres y las bombillas es tan evidente que a uno le entran ganas de levantarse y aplaudir mientras grita "Vámonos, estamos a tiempo". Un domingo en Santa Pola es un levísimo extracto del imaginario naif pasado por el filtro donostiarra que tanto calmó las tristezas de los jóvenes en los noventa. Pero con un poco más de mala leche, claro. El tiempo de la inocencia ha terminado porque los mejores se han marchado. Portobello, con su potente beat nos recuerda quién está detrás de Nureyev, con su pulsión británica y su energía imparable, sonríe, algún día te llevaré a Londres y todo lo malo habrá sido un sueño. El cierre del disco, con El último día del año, añade un poco de sal psicodélica a la receta, de la ansiedad anfetamínica de las nuevas olas para cerrar una grabación sorprendente, cargada de referencias pero todavía original. Un debut, el de Nureyev, donde el espíritu de Sergio Algora sobrevuela como un ángel de alas de cristal, es una agradabilísima realidad surgida de la inagotable cantera del pop aragonés cantado en español, con unas letras cuidadas, en esa línea familiar que une a Pulmón con El Polaco y nos hace tragarnos la lengua justo en mitad del bosque." "A compilation always looks nice as project, to join together people around one idea or thematic, it has also this obvious promotionnal aspect and purpose. In the present case, starting from the will to establish a collaboration between and "improv" label (Insubordinations) and an "electronic" one (Tsuku Tsuku Grammofon) we agreed on the concept of reworking one of the diatribes's albums.
Then what about the result ? What is its interest ?
At the end we have in our hands a journey into electroacoustic music, colored by the acoustic and improvised energy of "complainte de marée basse". It is pretty curious to ear how each musicians used the original material with very different concerns, according to their own usual practice. Some use them as "field recording", others work with sorts of "dub" remixing technics, some turned totally the sounds into their worlds without any attempt to keep a trace of the sources. And none of this sounds wrong, but in every case establishe dialogs between the reworks and originals, showing each time another vision of the role or value of "recorded sound"." (insubordinations)

"Tom Cary son verdaderos creyentes del lema "hazlo tú mismo". Un trío formado en 2006 por Francisco Verdugo, Pablo Garrido y Marcelo Moreno procedente de Málaga, que gracias a su sonido y actitud se han convertido en los últimos años en uno de los proyectos más interesantes del underground español. Poderoso, percusivo, mutante, crudo, eléctrico y abrasivo son algunos de los adjetivos empleados para describir sus directos y grabaciones.

Tras ganar la mayoría de los concursos noveles nacionales con en su primera demo, Steve Albini produjo su primer álbum, "That's right! Clean your soul" (Anewlabel / Pias) en 2008. A finales de 2009, editaron "Grace of the pure hearts" (Miga / Popstock), una recopilación de caras B y rarezas de su primer periodo en el net-label granadino Miga. En diciembre de 2011 presentan su 2º álbum de estudio, [Miga45] "Las Hidden Logics", un sorprendente álbum en el que la banda asume todas las tareas de grabación y producción, exceptuando el trabajo en las mezclas del gran Paco Loco.

Durante los últimos 3 años han realizado más de 100 conciertos en diferentes puntos del globo entusiasmando a los amantes del rock en estado puro. Han actuado, con notable éxito, en festivales de la talla de South By Southwest SXSW (Austin, EEUU) en 2009 y 2010, Rock al Parque 2009 (uno de los festivales más grandes de América Latina, que se celebra en Bogotá, Colombia), Primavera Sound 2010, Monkey Week 2009 y 2010, el FIB Benicassim 2006, Festival FFF Ecuador (Benicàssim, España), FNB 2009 (Caracas, Venezuela) o la Bienal Europea 2008 (Bari, Italia).
